My great-x4-grandmother was Mary Cumming Napier, who lived in a thatched cottage at 5 Haugh Street, Stockbridge(born 1826) :her father was John Napier and mother Helen Napier (nee Walker)...who died in Lauriston in 1858Mary and her husband James Murray Morrison had a son, my great, great grandfather, John Napier Middlemiss Morrison, who migrated to Australia....where I live.
